The wall, by Pink Floyd

1-The meaning of what the boy sees on the train and on his fantasy is that the children couldn't be individual, it show how they became victims of the war in that period of time. Also, the masks when the students are marching show also that they couldn't have individuality being in a way inside of educational camps. Also these scenes represemt that the people where part of the same system in which none have priorities.

2-The riot scene shows how were treated the student in that period, for example, when the scene ends the camera returns to the boy  and here show that in a way the teacher is making fun of the boy and all the students are laughing, showing that the teacher was in a way the "leader".

3- The education that the movie portrays is an education in which the teacher abuse of their power in the class  treating bad to the students, physically and verbally, for example when the teacher hits the hand of the boy, or olso humiliating him in front  of everyone.

4- Apart of education, in the wall I can notice another social institutions like the the religion in the church.

5- I believe that education is the base for success in life, because without a good education you couldnt go to the university for example, because yo would have a little knowledge. Also I believe that apart of the education of the school, there is the education of your house, of your parents, that is what makes you a better person. In relation to the song, i believe that it says "we dont need no education" because in that period the education was a disaster as we can see the teacher hits to the students, so the children didnt want that type of education.

6- I believe that education teaches children and enriches our culture. But, nowadays, we are free of saying our thoughts and express our opinions, so i think that it isn't a way of thought control, on the contrary, i believe it gives us the possibility to get to know different ways of thinking.

7- The metaphor shows how not literally the kids died due to education, but how their minds die because of it, in a way their expressions or thoughts is turned into trash bevause of the state of that years. The point that it makes is that the system of that period was very wrong.
